World Champs – Last 8 Finish For Rebecca

Yesterday Rebecca McGowan (pictured centre) was competing for GB at the world taekwondo championships in Manchester. Rebecca made it through to the quarter finals after beating Colombia and the Netherlands but was unfortunately beaten by Korea. Korea made it through to the final on Thursday night where she won the event in front of the Manchster Arena crowd.

Rebecca is still only 18 and this was her first World’s. Well done from everyone at the club. Olympic champion Chu Mu Yen decided he wanted in on the pic too

Spring School Holidays

Please note there will be a reduction in some classes during the School Spring holidays.    Lauren and Lucian will be covering the vast majority of classes during this period.  The following classes have been cancelled –

  • Saturday 30th March – ASD (9.30am) & Tots (11am) classes cancelled
  • Monday 1st April – Team training (7-9pm) class cancelled
  • Wednesday 3rd April  – Team training (7-9pm) class cancelled
  • Saturday 6th April – ASD (9.30am) & Tots (11am) classes cancelled

All other classes will be on as normal
